Ideata per una clientela benestante che potesse apprezzarne le linee morbide e moderne. La carrozzeria, sviluppata in funzione dell’aerodinamica, era molto affusolata con il grande cofano anteriore rastremato ed il parabrezza inclinato. I fari vennero integrati nei sinuosi passaruota. Il motore era un compatto 6 cilindri in linea che era abbinato ad un cambio a 4 marce. Fu la prima a montare un innovativo telaio ad X con trave centrale che permetteva di rendere leggera la vettura, pur non compromettendo la sicurezza e stabilità della stessa. La tenuta di strada era nettamente superiore alla media grazie alle nuove sospensioni anteriori indipendenti ‘Dubbonet’ con schema a quadrilatero longitudinale e ammortizzatori idraulici. ll magnifico esemplare da noi proposto in asta è la versione Berlina 4 porte senza montante centrale e con le porte posteriori controvento. Il bagagliaio non ha l’apertura esterna, ma è esclusivamente accessibile reclinando il sedile posteriore così come in tutti i modelli prodotti. E’ stata immatricolata per la prima volta nel 1937, la carrozzeria è di colore nero, gli interni e tutti i rivestimenti sono di colore beige chiaro Fiat. L’auto è stata totalmente restaurata circa 20 anni fa dopo un lungo periodo di fermo, la carrozzeria e gli interni hanno subito un restauro di tipo conservativo, il motore ha subito una revisione generale di tutte le componenti siano esse meccaniche che elettriche. Oggi l’auto si presenta in ottime condizioni. E’ parte di una bellissima collezione di auto appartenente ad un gentiluomo Italiano che negli anni le ha curate in maniera eccellente in tutti gli aspetti della conservazione e manutenzione. L’auto monta ancora le sue targhe originali dell’epoca (Mi), è dotata di tutta la sua documentazione originale ed è iscritta presso il registro storico dell’ASI. L’auto verrà battuta in asta alla kermesse di Milano AutoClassica 2021 in condizione straordinarie. In 1935 the brand new Fiat 1500 was presented at the Milan motor show. It was designed for a wealthy clientele who could appreciate its soft, modern lines. The bodywork, developed with aerodynamics in mind, was very streamlined with a large tapered front bonnet and a sloping windscreen. The headlights were integrated into the sinuous wheel arches. The engine was a compact straight-6 that was mated to a 4-speed gearbox. It was the first to feature an innovative X-frame chassis with a central beam that made the car lighter without compromising its safety and stability. Road holding was well above average thanks to the new independent 'Dubbonet' front suspension with longitudinal wishbone layout and hydraulic dampers. The magnificent example we are offering at auction is the 4-door saloon version without a centre pillar and with the rear doors upwind. The luggage compartment does not open outwards, but is only accessible by reclining the rear seat, as in all models produced. It was first registered in 1937. The bodywork is black, the interior and all upholstery is Fiat light beige. The car was completely restored about 20 years ago after a long period of inactivity, the bodywork and interior have undergone a restoration of conservative type, the engine has undergone a general overhaul of all components both mechanical and electrical. Today the car is in excellent condition. This car is part of a beautiful collection of cars belonging to an Italian gentleman who has taken excellent care in all aspects of conservation and maintenance over the years. The car was still fitted with its original plates of the time (Mi). It is equipped with all its original documentation and it is enrolled in the historical register of the ASI. The car will be auctioned at Milano AutoClassica 2021 in extraordinary condition.
